In-Home Sales Representative
About the role
Havenside Construction Group is hiring In-Home Sales Representatives in the Pittsburgh area. You will meet homeowners in their homes, understand what they want to change, and help them choose the right remodeling project. You will sell bathrooms, kitchens, accessibility equipment, and other residential construction projects, most in the $20,000 to $30,000 range.
We provide the leads. You will typically run 2 to 3 pre-set appointments a day. At each one, you will inspect and measure the space, design options on our iPad-based sales system, present pricing, and walk the homeowner through the proposed solution.
You will often be the first person from Havenside a homeowner meets. This role suits a construction-savvy sales professional who builds trust quickly, explains scope clearly, and manages a full field schedule independently.
What you'll do
Run 2 to 3 pre-set in-home appointments a day using our iPad-based sales system
Inspect and measure each space involved in the project
Design and present options for bathrooms, kitchens, accessibility equipment, and other residential projects
Explain what each project involves, including the plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
Provide clear pricing and a written proposal
Answer homeowner questions and help them make a confident decision
Follow up with homeowners and close sales
Record measurements and floor plans in MagicPlan, and track appointments, follow-ups, and sales in Salesforce
Hand off each sold project to the production team with everything they need to order and schedule
What you bring
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Confidence presenting to homeowners and answering questions on the spot
A friendly, professional manner that builds trust quickly
Ability to manage your own schedule and follow-ups without day-to-day supervision
Comfort with an iPad, email, electronic calendars, and Microsoft 365
Availability for evening and weekend appointments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to have
In-home sales experience
Experience in home remodeling or residential construction
High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation and benefits
This is a commission-based role paid as a draw against commission, plus a performance bonus. Your earnings depend on your sales results.
Estimated earning potential of $200,000 to $300,000 a year; actual earnings vary with individual sales performance and are not guaranteed
Leads provided: 2 to 3 pre-set appointments a day

Training and support
You will be trained on every Havenside product and on our in-home sales presentation. Training also covers communication, negotiation, planning, and problem solving, so you are ready to run appointments on your own.

Travel frequently to customer homes, businesses, and job sites, including extended periods of driving
Stand, walk, and move through customer properties in varying conditions for prolonged periods
Occasionally climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces

Lift and carry sales materials, samples, displays, or equipment up to 25 pounds
Use a tablet, computer, smartphone, and other office equipment
Communicate with customers in person and by phone
